I'm Going (on a semi) Hiatus

I've been bottling up my feelings again. This time, it was at work. Long story short, I broke down a couple of times. Don't take this the wrong way, I love my job but I'm very concern about the communication. The worst part is... Christmas shopping has started.

That's why I've came to to decision to go hiatus, so I can deal with the Christmas shoppers at work, make some Christmas cards, and work on my emotions. But I will post some artwork as soon as I can.

September Plans

Okay... since summer is long gone due to many things on my plate. I need to clear everything in my diary until the year is over, so I can have better balance with my day job, family, friends and my new creative idea.

I'm planning to write an short story based on a frightening true article that I read from an magazine a while ago.

VlogStar Challenge at the BAFTAs

I was invited as a guest for the finale of the Media Trust VlogStar Challenge last night. Along with my mother, I went to the BAFTAs to watch the final entries of the 15 amazing vloggers.

I laughed my head off form an HILARIOUS lad called Kat Boyce.

Sian Mullard's performance was really good.

One vlogger called Iassac was the winner of the VlogStar! Congrats and Happy (belated) Birthady!

A funny thing happened to me at work

I'm a little embarrassed to explain what happen, so I made this comic.

I'm Back!

Alrighty then, I'm back.

Since half the year is gone (Yikes!), I'm going to improve myself for my day job while I create more content for my social media pages.

Made a Video! Now I'm Taking a Break

Last week was a bit of a chaos, because I was encouraged to make another video for the Vlogstar competition. I literately made up a short film, drew the scenes and recorded the dialogue. Now that  I've finished, I'm going to take a break so I can get rid of this developing cold.

VlogStar

I had a great time at the VlogStar event. I learned so much from the professionals. I managed to make a new vlog as a entry, but I was encouraged to make another one since I finished the first one in a flash.

So I'm working on a new video at the moment.

The way I used to draw/paint lips looked awful back then.

I was haunted by this painting (on the left) I did from school, ten... years... ago. The cringe was so... bad, I ended up revamping it.

Okay, I managed to finish this intro video to my YouTube channel. I wish I was better at planning my projects while I have my day job.

Officially Working Part-Time

"Hello! Can I help you?"

I went to TK Maxx to get my hours. I will be working four days a weeks with a four hour shift in the afternoons. Sounds good enough for me to keep up with my creativity.

Good News Galore

Went from speechless to ecstatic in seconds!

I've been super happy all afternoon! Why? Because I received two amazingly good news. I got a part-time job at TK Maxx! My eight and a half year job hunt is finally over.

Remember the vlog workshop I went to? (If not, click here) Well, I took part of the competition and I'm just been told that I'm an semi-finalist.

My goodness, what a day for me!

What... a... month!

I'll just rest here for a bit.

First of all, huge... apologies for my absent. I've never been so shattered, physically and mentally! But I managed to finish off that retail course. So while I recover from the madness, I'll get back into drawing, blogging and making short films.

Let me be honest with you

For the last few weeks I had a lot of things thrown at me. My creativity/happiness was down for a short time because I was pressured about getting a job (again). I'm starting to crack every-time I get lectured about my future.

What a day I had

I was invited to the Kaleidoscope Investments training, it was a great experience. I'm feeling more confident with the information I've got for my business plans.

Juggling again

Since I started another course with the Prince's Trust, I have to reduce my creative days this month. I'll be drawing on the weekends until I finish the course.

I'm a YouTuber!

Hey, I thought that I tell you something super cool. I have YouTube now. It's a work-in-progress but I'll make it great.
